Jefferson Quilt Show

This past weekend was the Jefferson quilt show, called “Quilts on the Bayou.”  It was the 10th year for this show, and it is a high quality one, with a large selection of vendors, great classes and demonstrations, and faithful fans who come every year from faraway places!  So next year, plan to make Jefferson, Texas your destination in January.

Here are some of my favorite quilts from the show:

P1030943

P1030949

In addition to the regular quilts, there was a special exhibit of antique quilts owned by the late Sharon Newman, a renowned quilt historian, appraiser, and teacher.  Here’s my favorites from that exhibit:

P1030961

P1030965

P1030968

It was a wonderful show, and now I have some new fabrics to play with until next year!
